Angular Development from Jquery Design Templates.

Hey guys, I need some suggestions Actually right now i am working on a project where we need to deliver it rapidly. We are using MEAN stack for this.I am trying to build my front end in angular but the problem is the designer in our team is giving me htmls with jquery and i have to convert all of that stuff into angular. So can i keep on doing what i am doing or i have to just add my api calls and business logic inside the jquery pages which he is providing
