Any tips/advices for working remotely?

Hello there, I'm currently searching for a new job position and more and more thinking about working in a distributed team. Anybody here part of one? I'd love to hear how do you experience it. Do you got any advices about where to search for remote jobs, common pitfalls of remote working and such?
