Anybody trying out Advent of code 2019 ?

Hey hashnoders, Just curious if someone is solving Advent of Code (adventofcode.com), If so let's use this thread to discuss questions, and strictly no spoilers.

I'm new to this and am trying advent of code for the first time and am stuck on day 6, I could not figure out how to count the orbits, I mean in the example they say that it's 42 orbits, but for some reason, I'm not able to count to that number. I would really appreciate it if somebody can help me out. But no spoilers to the solution though!
