Best Payment Gateway other than PayPal/Stripe/Braintree?

I've a client from Malaysia and wants to integrate a payment on method which work globally but mostly in china, Singapore and Malaysia , now he don't want to use PayPal or stripe or braintree.

We've project in laravel and i wonder how upwork, freelancers, foodpands, aliexpress using for their payment of debit/credit cards.

I've been looking into developer.visa.com/capabilities/visa_direct.. I've also successfully integrated the Cash In Push Payment but not sure how to fetch the already sucessfull transactions status.

still digging into the docs but i felt like i am kind of wasting enough time if in the end it also didn't work out and i will be at dead end again.

so any suggestion or ideas are appreciated.
