Does your team hold one-on-one/1:1 meetings?

The 1:1 meeting seems common in tech but that could just be the places I've worked. Do you have 1:1 meetings where you work? Do you think they're good? Bad? Other?

(Definition for clarity: a 1:1 meeting is where a leader and their direct report have a regularly-scheduled meeting with just the two of them present.)
