Google Compute Engine SSH issue

We are using GCP for hosting our tech-stack. There's a bastion server where one needs to SSH to connect to instances which are in private subnet.

But while we try to SSH to the bastion, sometimes it does work and sometimes it does not. Has anyone else faced similar issue in SSH'ing to GCE?
