Have You Had Success Working with Recruiting Firms?

I have only seriously entertained recruiting firms since the start of the 2020. However, I've been fairly soured by the experience working with 2 separate firms that reached out to me via LinkedIn. What has been your experience? Did the recruiters you work with seem knowledgable and find you quality employment? Have the companies the recruiters brought forth seem like good companies? Do "good" companies even need to use recruiters?
