Hi, guys. I had an idea of a resource where developers can share their experience of working with different libs, frameworks, and approaches by comparing alternative ones. The cases are:

  • you want to choose a library for your project but not sure which one to pick up for the concrete case. For example, you are don't know which ORM fits your case more: Hibernate or MyBatis; so you go to the resource where other developers post one-against-one reviews (comparisons) of these libraries.

  • you worked with some alternative libs a lot and want to share your experience with a community. For example, you used both the Hibernate and MyBatis, so you go to the resource and creates a new review, where you describe which cases go well with Hibernate and which with MyBatis, you also can add some examples and describe little nuances for both cases.

I implemented a simple alpha version of such a resource and want to get someone's opinion about the idea. I've deployed it on Heroku: betterlib.herokuapp.com

There are no a lot of comparisons yet, I've just added one for an example.

Would you be interested to use it?
