Other than everyone's local/familiar/returning clients, there are some resources accessible to all of us (e.g. freelancer.com) in common.

Would you please share yours along with your personal experience in taking services from them either positive or negative? Which ones are the trusted ones for you? We could share good enough information to make this thread a kind of curated list on freelancing sources.
