How do your company or team evaluate members?
Any experiences or good articles are welcome.
Background:
Recently, my boss come up with an monthly evaluation system which will be used for incentive after few months. First we set core target tasks and assignee in a spread sheet. And at the end of a month, there are 3 stages of evaluation (self eval, team leader eval and final eval) for each target task.
I wonder this similar systems are used in other tech companies. And I'm worried about that this system is not fit with developing a software.
