I have always been a loner kind of guy but really never knew why. I really enjoy intense conversation and hearing other points of view. I never really had anyone to talk to about ideas or anyone to ask questions to. I have no web programming friends and the friends that do program only dabble in unrelated technologies.

However everything changed this past semester when I discovered the usefulness of stackoverflow, Meteor's Forum, and now Hashnode. I have really grown to like the community of web development, but like all social circles there are rough edges. However I have not met any rough edges on this social network and have really enjoyed my time here. So to you hashnode and hashnode users I salute you as a veteran to your composure and down right respectfulness.

I know I am a new developer and I ask many times simple questions, I notice as I look back on them, but like everything curiosity is a flame and I hope to keep mine going. Saying that I hope to keep others going as well. I feel a need to help other starting out developers but know at this moment I cannot because with every question I have questions of my own.

Soon enough I will be a developer who has years of experience behind my belt. And when that day comes I will look forward to visiting the forums to give sage advice on new and upcoming technologies to newcomers like people have done for me on sites like this. No other community has given me a sense of fellowship.

I owe it to you all to make myself better and give back. I hope this reaches people so they can see that they have make a huge difference when they contribute. If you can't find Marcus Whelan on other forums my name is usually "mjwrazor". Thank you all.
