Don't ever give up on your dreams..

Hi, i am Gurpreet Singh from Haryana, India. Currently working as a Full-time Web Developer in Melbourne, Australia.

Note: This is my first blog ever so quality can be really shit if someone reads this. But mostly its just a reminder to myself, don't give up ever.

(Mar 2014) (Just turned 18) The story begins => Got my visa to study Bachelor of Information Technology from LaTrobe University and i have never wrote a single line of code in my entire life. Before i just used to solve some Window's or iPhone related problems and really loved it which drove me to choose IT. First semester, saw first line of code executed and printed out "Hello World" on the display which was written in Java. I was stunned and very exited to see that happen. Now, as a student in different country, you always need to be working at least 20 hours per week to survive so i got my first job at a restaurant as kitchen hand. As it was just a job to survive, i didn't enjoyed the job but i really enjoyed going to University and study so i guess it balanced out my emotions.

I did'nt realize this is going to be long, even i wouldn't read it. So long story short, i graduated in Dec 2016. Thought programming is really hard for me and i gave up. In start of 2020, i saw a video of Chris Sean and how he failed everything and got a job as developer. It gave me a hope that i can do it as well. Started learning step by step and 8 months later got Full-time job as a Web Developer and its really rewarding.

If you want to build a wall, don't think of building a wall straight away because chances are you will give up, rather try to lay a brick each day as best as you can and one day wall will be built. If you get this perspective, anything is achievable.
