The use of illegal drugs is something that must be removed from the face of the earth because its effects are very bad for a person's mental and mental health. Although the bad effects are undeniable, there are still many users of illegal drugs, both celebrities and ordinary people. Most of them are tempted by the effects of illegal drugs which are insignificant compared to the bad effects, both short and long term.

According to the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) there are 3.6 million drug users in Indonesia. Although lower than in 2011, the number is still quite high. To eradicate the abuse of illegal drugs, all groups, both citizens and the government, are required to participate in various activities, such as conducting outreach to the vulnerable.

One way to avoid illegal drugs is to know what bad effects will befall us if we use them so that we are fortified from the temptation to use them. Then, what are the bad benefits of drugs? Let's see the full review.

  1. Can create dependency The first bad effect of using illegaldrugs is addiction. This impact is produced when someone has repeatedly used drugs which resulted in the number of substance receptors in the drug increasing in the body. This can make someone want to use it again when the effects of the drug have worn off.

In addition, dependence on drugs can also be caused by damage to brain cells. This damage can make it difficult for drug users to stop using drugs.

  1. There are changes in brain cells The bad impact of the next abuse of illegal drugs is that it can change brain cells. Of course the change in question is not for the better, but these changes lead to brain damage.

There are also several types of drugs that can force the brain to suppress the central nervous system and stimulate the brain to be calmer. If it is too severe, the impact of the damage will be permanent. In fact, if the consumption of illegal drugs has been stopped, the effects of drugs on brain cells do not just disappear, but will take a long time.

  1. Causes hallucinatory effects Some drugs exist that can create hallucinatory effects in users. In short, drugs work by manipulating the user's sense of sight so that what he sees is different from what is in reality. The effects of this type of drug are dizziness, disorientation, numbness, confusion, to a sensation like floating on the user.

In addition, hallucinogenic drug users also vary, ranging from easy to forget, heart beating faster than usual, panic, hallucinations, and also excessive anxiety.

  1. Lowering the quality of life Drugs can be said to be like parasites that always eat away at the lives of their users. Drug users will always increase the dose of the drug they take over time. This can make the user feel tired, uncomfortable, and also hopeless. This effect can disrupt their social life, because users will always prioritize drugs over the people around them, even though they are aware that this is wrong. Drug users will also justify any means to get drugs, so that indirectly drugs will also increase crime in society.

  2. Can cause death The last bad effect of drugs is that it can cause death for its users. Deaths of drug users are usually caused by overdose in consuming illegal drugs. In addition, drugs can also indirectly kill users because not a few drug users end their lives because they are tired and frustrated with the life they live. Therefore, one of the things that can save the lives of drug users is their family and close relatives through the support given to stop and stay away from users from the black valley called drugs.

Those were some of the bad effects that can be experienced by drug users. After all, the responsibility in eradicating drugs is not only on the state, but we must also continue to strive to avoid the environment around us from illegal drugs.
