Should I get New MacBook Pro 13 inch or Old 15 inch?

My budget is pretty limited to 1500$. I was thinking about getting the new MacBook Pro 13-inch Model (2.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Without Touchbar).

I am going to do some coding and video editing for YouTube. So, I was worried about the performance with the dual-core i5 processor. And then a friend of mine suggested getting an older laptop like the 2015 15-inch model with i7 processor.

So, just wanted to know which one is better options?

Update(23/05/2021): I bought a Macbook Pro 16inch in Jan 2020 fall in love with it recently bought new m1 MacBook air as well. I will say if you have money then you should definitely buy M1 Air it's really good.
