Underline support in Hashnode's markdown

I am the user of both Dev.to and Hashnode.com . I love & prefer the later one i.e. Hashnode , although compared with Dev.to it lacks of (for me personally) very important feature i.e. text underline . I found a workaround using URL embedding as [some text](://) , but that's hyperlinked (hrefable) which is not option if a reader press on it with no intention resulting in 404 (common sense there is no such valid URL as :// right?) . I will get ahead of the storm justifying myself as I've already tried an option of <u>some text</u> which as mentioned – available only in Dev.to
