University of Maryland Software Development Survey

Researchers at the University of Maryland’s Computer Science Department are surveying software developers regarding their beliefs in their ability to create software programs.

For this study, you will be asked to complete a survey (~20 mins) where you will be presented with a set of software development tasks. Then, we will ask you to indicate how well you think you could perform these tasks. Anyone who completes the survey will be given the option to enter a raffle for one of 10 $20 Amazon gift cards.

You are eligible for this study if:

  • You perform software development as part of their employment or regularly contribute to open source projects.

  • You are 18 years or older.
