What actually happening in flux architecture or its framework like Redux is managing GLOBAL STATE.!

I have been going Reactjs and its concept for last week And I found it good but no very good or best . Its good because of its modularity and state Not very good because of the ROCKET SCIENCE you need to manage the states and then UI if not using flux or anything else . I did a small experiment before reading about flux and all . The experiment was to create a class containing all the states as a global and importing that in each component . Then I learned little or few bits of flux and redux and for my point of view these are nothing but global states and how we are creating and managing it. Right?
