About Mansfield Plumbing My name is Scott Mansfield. My slogan is "I fix the pipes"—a philosophy built on a non-traditional path to building next-generation AI systems. I don't have a CS degree. My expertise was forged in practice: years in high-level tech support, training teams on complex systems, and coaching. My passion for technology, born from scripting mIRC bots and exploring the emulation scene, led me to start coding professionally in March 2025. As a person on the spectrum, I thrive on deep-diving into complex systems. This led me to build VirtuaCast: an end-to-end, open-source platform for creating and training real-time AI video models directly on the GPU. VirtuaCast is built around a high-performance "video bus" architecture. This allows any application—from a live webcam feed, a stereo-vision rig, a Krita canvas, or even a Shadertoy instance—to become a real-time producer. This data is then consumed by a modular, GPU-accelerated pipeline that can run AI ensembles, like my cooperative face-swapping models, which solve the notorious "neck seam" and hair integration problems. The entire system is built on a zero-copy C++/DirectX backend, with the final processed video being output through a universal virtual camera driver, making it instantly compatible with OBS, Snapchat, and any other video application on Windows.
