Can web2 be replaced by web3, iyo? Since all the big techs and governments hate it.
Hi there! I think that's a great question and maybe not one we have a definite answer to right now with our current knowledge. As with all new technologies, it's a process of evolution over time to see what works and what doesn't. But given the problems that web2 has with regards to data privacy, etc, I believe that web3 has a real chance of becoming more widely adopted in the future. I believe that big tech and governments would need to adapt and work with this new technology if enough people are seeing value in it and using it. But having said this, I don't think we should think of web3 as replacing web2, but instead they would perhaps co-exist in the future with different use-cases. In the end, it's just about finding the right tool for the job. In some cases, web3 would shine right now, in other cases, web2.
Hayley is Coding 馃 Such a great answer to a 'great question'. I think my opinion is the same as yours too. Thank you and have a good one!
