I have always loved to read your masterpieces, such as this. Thank you for sharing this well thoughtful guide.

I resonate with the section on introducing oneself, as with other points, and I love how Natasha put it: Expansive Labels. I'd definitely watch the video soon.

From the book I'm currently reading, How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, one of my take away so far is using the knowledge that people would generally prefer talking about themself, so getting to ask the right questions can make others reveal more than they would usually.

I see you highlighted a similar point. However, I have a question I'd like your input. So lately, I have been consuming some knowledge on habits, lifestyle, and communication through books, but applying and executing the principles from these books is a different story; what do you think is the best approach to apply what I've read consciously?

Thanks for the thoughtful and insightful comment Favourite Jome! I love that you shared about Dale Carnegie's book because it is also one of the most inspirational books I've read!

I have read a lot of books on habits and communication too. To me it's not about immediately changing yourself as suggested from these books, but about immediately applying these suggestions to change yourself slowly (for the better ofc).

I would take a few tips that I can apply immediately from the book and get used to it. For example, Dale Carnegie mentioned about using people's names more. So every time I thanked someone in my team, instead of typing "Thank you", I typed "Thank you, XXX". It's a promise I made to myself. Gradually, this formed into a habit. Now, I'm ready to apply another tip and the cycle repeats. It takes time to change yourself, so don't be overwhelmed and try to change a lot at once. Everything can be done in baby steps :)

That's good advice Victoria Lo. I'll make sure to remember that. Bady steps every day will compound to a new self 😊
