My Journey to the Cloud

My Journey to the Cloud

I am a self-taught film/video editor with over five years of professional expertise and a sizable amount of credits. As much as I enjoy telling stories visually, my heart is somewhere else.

I am a problem-solver at heart, and this is a result of my aptitude for analytical thinking and quantitative reasoning. Where else to look for this but in "tech"? I've always known I wanted to go into a profession in technology, but due to the wide variety of roles in technology, I had trouble deciding which field. Up until that point, I didn't realize my quest was ended until I came across Amazon Web Service (AWS).

The term "cloud computing" describes the provision of computing services via the internet, enabling users to instantly access and make use of a variety of resources and applications. Instead of using local PCs or company servers, it entails managing, processing, and storing data and applications on external servers.

In cloud computing, users can use a range of tools, like PCs, cellphones, or tablets, to access these resources and services from anywhere with an internet connection. A cloud service provider owns and maintains the underlying infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and software.

I left my position as a film/video editor in order to pursue a career in cloud engineering. Although there is still a lot to learn and consider, it does feel daunting, but I'm willing to take the adventure.
I will record every step of my adventure, including the difficulties, solutions, excitement, agony, and everything in between.

Buckle up!
