In 2011, I founded Ladderup Wealth Management with a dream of creating a niche in a very crowded space. There were more than 80,000 advisors in India in 2011 and we had just started with no name, credentials, or performance track record. \nThe only thought that powered us and made our resolve stronger was that if we “ We focus on \"doing the right things\" than doing too many things”, it would lead our clients to a good place.\nI feel happy that Ladderup Wealth Management is now amongst the top 100 players in India and has an enviable track record of 12 years.

The last 27 years of the rollercoaster ride of the financial markets have been greatly enriching and have taught me some invaluable lessons.

This blog is an attempt to share some of my knowledge and experiences with you so that you do not repeat mistakes that happen out of dealing with the unknown. Speaking about my professional life; besides the 12 years I have spent in building Ladderup Wealth, I also have more than 18 years of corporate experience and a deep knowledge of the financial markets.

I was the chief marketing officer at Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd. and prior to that I also headed the Strategy and Business Development team at BSLAMC.

My understanding of the wealth management business and capital markets can be attributed to my wide-ranging experience in sales, strategy, product development, marketing, IT, acquisitions, and now wealth management.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), and I am also a CFA charter holder of the CFA institute in the U.S.A.

As a keen golfer and traveler, I never miss an opportunity to hit the golf course or the road.
