Highly suggest checking out scriptkit. This tool can help you automate a lot!
Just took a look. I will actually give this a try. Definitely something that would make automation easier
Hey Jakub Olek thanks for suggestion I looked at this and was exactly what I needed.
Thank you for sharing this, I tried it and it's really amazing.
I'm really glad. The point of this post was to provide simple and practical applications to something pretty interesting yet not so well documented.
I was looking for something similar.. thanks for sharing 🙌🔥
Hey I’m glad you found it useful. I struggled using launchd at first to trigger my script and there weren’t many examples online so once I did get it I made sure to document my progress

Heck yeah! There's a lot you can do with it. Go ham.
I didn't know apple have this capability. Thank you for sharing!
I only found out about it 2 weeks ago. I think there's a lot of cool and interesting things you can do within the apple automation / optimizing productivity space.
Hold it did you guys discover BASH? Oh, just Apple stealing ideas again. ;) haha
Applescript is not Bash and nor does it follow the same structure or solve things that you'd use shell scripting for.
Bash refers to the shell most Unix distributions have - the Bourne Again Shell - BASH. You are trying to talk about shell scripting (.sh) but call it Bash.
Thanks for sharing 👍 Was thinking about how to save window layouts on my Mac so that I can reuse them later, now I know where to look! 🔥
I'm glad to hear it.
Are you running any custom theming in MacOS? Your finder window seems more dark than my dark mode in Monterey.
No custom theming. I will admit that my finder is not as dark as the screenshot but I wish it were.
Makes sense. I wish it was that cor as well. Looks super sharp! Lorenze Jay Hernandez
Hello to all forum members. I have a macbook pro 13, I use it mainly for work, so it is indispensable for me. Recently the battery in my macbook broke. Can you tell me how to choose and where to buy a new battery?
When I realized that I needed to replace the keyboard and battery, I decided to seek help from specialists. On Apple's official website, I found a list of authorized service centers in my city and chose the one closest to my place of residence.
As you know, Apple computers are known for their reliability and durability, but sometimes a part still needs to be replaced. The first thing I did was to figure out what part I needed. My Macbook started glitching and I suspected that the problem was in the keyboard. I did some research on the internet and found that some keys were unresponsive or sticking. After more research, I concluded that I would need a replacement keyboard. After carefully selecting a supplier I proceeded to place an order. On their website appleparts.io/macbook-pro/macbook-pro-13-a…, I found the correct keyboard for my model of Macbook and added it to my cart. Then I followed the checkout instructions, entered my shipping address and selected a convenient payment method. After successfully replacing the keyboard, I tested my Macbook and was pleased to see that the problem was completely fixed. The keys worked perfectly and my computer use was once again comfortable and efficient.
