Great article. I love Firefox and use it as my primary browser. But I never contributed code because of the patch submission process. It's tedious when you need to revise/review.
I wish they would move to a system like github where we can just submit a pull request.
It might seem tedious in beginning, but let me tell you once you set up the environment locally it is straight to the point submitting patches, easy than how GitHub works.

Hi, great article. I noticed there wasn't any mention of Xcode. Is it not necessary to download the app on a macOs before bootstrapping a copy of the Firefox source code?
