FANTASTIC!
Jim Moses, This Resurection weekend, we used Holepunch's new PEAR RUNTIME to create a Desktop version of this todo. You can check it out in this repo github.com/Jitpomi/HelloPears Article coming soon JITPOMI
Link to github repo?
Hi Nick. If you click on hello-peers in the blog. It should get you there.
Your comment also indicates that it might not be obvious how to find the link as instructed above. We have therefore gone ahead and explicitly included a section called The Repo in which we pasted the link and gave a few instructions on how to test it. Again we Appreciate your reactions. Thanks Nick Thomas
Verrrrry helpful attach and explanation! One question: what version of the holepunch tools is used?
Hello Peers is built using holepunch modules and some 3rd party libraries but all of these are compatible with Hypercore v10 ... So to answer your question ... This article is written based on v10 of Holepunch modules...
By the time this article was written, some of the modules were not yet stable - This is why you will find in HelloPeers package.jsons a couple of dependency references from git - but we have plans of editing this guide so that it mostly uses the core Holepunch Modules. The only 3rd party library we intend to leave as is is hyperdeebee (Because we have no intention of doing or hyperbee indexing from scratch).
