As a developer I can understand your frustration . I hope github will address this issue and hopefully this story reaches to wider audience .After all this can happen with any other developer too.

I was torn up about writing something like this as I've always been a huge GitHub fan. I really appreciate the feedback as I still felt like maybe I was just not seeing things clearly. But, I'm happy that you understand where I am coming from. Cheers 🍻

Thanks for sharing your experience! I had no clue this could happen. I am using GitHub for my client projects, this would be awful! I guess it comes at a price to rely on such corporations/platforms for hosting your work.
