I
- read an interesting article directly, memorize the most important message, close the article
- don't have time to read now, so I just open the tab an leave it open until I read it (in a special window; my computer has enough RAM to spare ;) )
- am really interested in the article and need to analyze the content later or someplace else, then I send the link via mail to my mail account
- find the article very interesting in the long run or I might need the content sporadicly, I memorize the URL
- find the article very interesting in the long run or I might need the content frequently, I put it into my browser bookmarks menu. It does not contain a whole lot....
If I ever need to read an article again , because of the knowledge in it or quotes from it, it is easier to just google than trying to organize a big pile of bookmarks. Google then also comes up with a lot more sources which help me cross-check and get more opinions and sources on the topic.
