What's the hardest part of designing a reliable, fanless POS system?

For me, it's balancing three things:

1. Thermal management: No fans means we have to rely entirely on passive cooling—critical for quiet cafes and 24/7 operation.
2. Global compliance: Meeting FCC/CE/KC certifications while keeping hardware compact.
3. Modularity: Businesses need to add printers, scanners, or wireless modules without replacing the whole device.
