I don’t think most developers are tired of coding itself.

I think they’re tired of everything wrapped around it:

constant change
constant upskilling
constant pressure
constant comparison
constant fear of falling behind

And that changes the relationship people have with tech.

So I’m curious:

Does coding still excite you or does it mostly feel like maintenance for your career now?
