Hello friends!
I am glad to announce that we have launched something called RFA (aka Requests For Articles). As writers we often spend considerable amount of time brainstorming what to write next. RFA is a way to remove this gap and help writers come up with next article idea quickly. In short, consider this a crowdsourced repository of topics developers want to read next.
So, how does this work?
Visit RFA page. The "hot" tab surfaces the most liked article ideas. You can switch to "recent" tab to see a list of new ideas.
If you want an article written on a specific topic, you can add a new entry from the widget on the right side.
- If you like an existing idea, feel free to upvote it so that it appears at the top.
As an author, you can utilize this space to come up with article ideas. If you like an idea, feel free to take it up and write an article on the topic. Once you have published your article, you can submit your entry by clicking on the submit button present on the idea card.
After you add your article, it'll remain attached to the idea card so that future visitors can check out a list of articles that address specific ideas. It also serves as a public repo of interesting ideas and corresponding articles.
We have already seeded the space with a bunch of ideas! Feel free to keep adding more and upvoting the ones you like. If you are an author, I look forward to reading your next article. ✌️
