Charlie Steg is an contemporary artist located in Hoboken, New Jersey. He was born on April 12, 1980, and received a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from Montclair State University in 2003. Through the years, his work has shifted from nature to abstract and cubism art forms. His work is characterised by sharp and unusual shapes and an interesting colour palette.

His themes are diverse and reflect a deep inner-reflection and careful observation. Charlie Steg is not an artist who is easily satisfied, and he wants to be challenged and stimulated in his working environment. Charlie is always seeking knowledge in his profession. Charlie Steg is looking for new ways to express his ideas using mixed techniques in order to be innovative. He pictures his acrylics as action paintings, creating mixtures and textures on canvas or sheet, where he has no idea how each piece will end up, because he does not have an established conception when he starts painting.
