Sorry :(
I know I am late with this, but sadly we were down for "scheduled maintenance" (basically an intern blew up our code-base). I am really sorry for being this late.
Preamble
So, as many of you had voted for, I set foot to write the an extensive series on High-Availability Infrastructures. I am writing it, but the problem is that I can't illustrate well.
Would any of you would be interested to illustrate a couple of small diagrams? Anyone? Please?
Some delectable updates
It'll be a three part series, spread like so:
Part 1 - Introduction to High Availability; some key terms, and a simple use case;
Part 2 - Vertical Scaling at production; how to make a vertically scalable infrastructure; Docker 101.
Part 3 - Using Microservices to build scalable, easy-to-maintain, and easy-to-deploy infrastructures.
What are your opinions? What do you think? If you want anything else added, I'd love to explain that. Leave a comment.
P.S.: I am really sorry for not being a man of my word, and posting it when I was supposed to. I surely will, within the next week or so.
