We all heard about Side-Hustle either on social media platforms or through friends. The training has been quite nice, as it structured our way of learning the skills and putting them into practice different from the way some of us have been learning haphazardly before joining the Side-Hustle internship program.

The first week and second week of internship was easy but yet, eye opening. We started learning HTML before we then moved on to CSS. We were given a project from frontendmentor.io to design a single order summary page after the second week of learning HTML and CSS. In my group(Group 8) we started the project poorly😕 simply because it was the first time most of us had to work as team on a project, which is one of the great advantages of enrolling in the Side-Hustle internship program because we all realized the value of teamwork and how to work as a team. We successfully completed the project as a team and not only passed but had top grade ( A ).

The tutors/mentors in Side-hustle have been doing excellently well in trying to get people started and training us in the Web-development field. We have live classes twice a week and pre-recorded tutorial videos are also given to us to sharpen our skills including recommended tutorials from YouTube.

We are presently in the 5th week of the internship and we all can say we've improved tremendously in HTML, CSS and also Tailwind-CSS, we are currently learning JavaScript, though many of us are still trying to find our balance in using the language, as some of us are totally new to it, but we know that the Side-Hustle tutors/mentors are doing everything in their power to help us find balance.

Finally, the organization of the Side-Hustle internship program is not totally perfect, nevertheless, we have received enough knowledge to start exploring the Front-end development field on our own. Side-Hustle has really set the pace for us🥰 and we believe that with the enormous amount of knowledge we've obtained from Side-hustle Internship program, we are going places!
