The personal website is a funny thing. By their very nature, they are self-aware about their self-obsession. Still, some manage to be uniquely creative, fun, and engaging collections of Internet 1's and 0's.
Whether it's for the content, the structure, the style, or beyond – what's a nice personal homepage you've come across, and why?
I'll start: I've always admired the... I dunno, tenacity, maybe?... of Bret Victor's website. Bret is a legend, and the collection of content kept at worrydream.com is all delicious food for thought. The site itself, though, is wacky. I love it, but I don't like that I love it.
Frank Chimero's old website gets an honourable mention. Sadly he's since taken a more straightforward approach with frankchimero.com.
