How did you improve your dev communication in English?

Hello Non-English speakers.

I use English for dev communication on the web to learn English or touch to larger contents than written by my mother language (Japanese).

However, I do not often feel strong in improving my English skills. Recently, Google translation has become so sophisticated, so I am not too much trouble. But sometimes I can not feel the detailed expressions embedded in the English sentence, or misread long sentences written with emphasis on very strictness.

In case of you, how did you improve your dev communication in English?
