How Moving Out To A New City, changed My Life

Back in 2018, I was so excited to move out to a new city to pursue my bachelor's degree.

A city, almost 2600 km away from my place, Bangalore. A city that was new to me. Moving to New City was more exciting for me than the college. i would love to share on How moving out to a new city, changed my life:

1) Meeting new people:

"Every person is a new door to a different world" **

It's true, The things you learn from meeting new people may range from cultural interests to travel tips, tasty recipes to random facts. Meeting new people helped me to get out of my comfort zone and it enhanced my communication skills. It wasn't that easy for me, in the start, as I was meeting people whose first language wasn't the same as mine, I remember going to the college washroom and crying because I had no friends during the first two months of college, but after that things started falling into place and now I m grateful to know so many beautiful people.

2) Traveling alone :

Going on solo dates with Myself it's one of the best experiences i have ever had , going to a random cafe and observing new people is so good. Travelling alone taught me to enjoy my own company, as in, at the end of the day, only we can make ourselves happy.

3 ) Time management :

From my first year of college to my third year, I have seen a drastic change in myself. I remember, being in the first year and not completing my projects on time and being too careless Time management is something which I learnt a very hard way, but in the end, I must say, I just love this journey

4) Trying new food :

When it comes to food, I m such a foodie, I love trying new food. Living in pg made me connect with different people from different cultures, and trying their dishes was so much fun. Especially Masala Dosa and idli, Ummm, I can't live without it now.

Have you ever moved to a new city? How was your experience?
