Who Am I?

Hey you! Hello and Welcome to my development journey. Sabrina is my name. I’m a mommy of three boys, a Full-Stack Dev, & a Freelancer. My family and I live in Cleveland, Ohio. Since 2018, I’ve been on this adventure. When you pursue your ideas and aspirations, it’s pretty amazing how everything seems to fall into place. I was inspired when I was asked to reconstruct a friend’s page. It was pretty random, but it was the catalyst for me to pursue a career in tech. Since then, I’ve been laying the groundwork for my foundation and will continue to do so. The road to becoming a developer hasn’t always been smooth. And, as we all know, nothing worthwhile comes easy. But, in the end, it was well worth it. Everything I’ve gone through to get here has been well worth it. 🙂

What Am I Doing?

Well, as a Dev, I’m currently on the lookout for my first IT job. It’s been a while since, if I’m being honest, job security kept me at my job when covid hit. I dropped the ball on the search because I did not want to make such a transition during a challenging time. It was a period of great uncertainty, and my current employment was the only thing I could count on. I’m truly appreciative. But now I have gained some momentum to start. I have projects lined up to build a better portfolio for that job I am patiently waiting for.

In terms of my freelance business, I’ve always wanted to be my own boss. “Then why do you want a job in corporate?” you could question. I value the opportunity to learn and grow. I’ve been working alone for far too long and want to immerse myself in the environment and learn even more because, in IT, you never stop learning new things. (For those who want to join the community, wink wink).

Aside from that, I’m jotting down all of my thoughts on how to improve as a Content Creator, Dev-Blogger, and yes, a YouTuber. Some topics you can expect can be #Web-Security, #MERN-Stack, And Freelance. There is still a lot of work to be done behind the scenes before these fantastic concepts become a reality, but they are in the works, so stay tuned! <3

What To Expect?

I’ve already given away the majority of it, but there is one little detail. I am a person who enjoys assisting and encouraging others. So, anticipate feeling encouraged whenever you read my blog, consume my stuff, or watch videos. As I have previously stated, I spent 2 1/2 years on my own and I had many disheartening moments because I was so new to this and had no support system within this realm of work. I only want to be someone in your life who can provide you with hope and encourage you when things get tough. We Can do this!
