JNV: Paradise on earth.

jawahar navodaya vidyalaya(JNVs) are the residential school in india. It is a totally co-educational school. It starts from 6th to 12th standard. 661 JNVs are there in India in total. We can take admission in the 6th,9th, 11th classes.

schedule

we have to wake up at 6 am. and then breakfast time, and school timing from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm after we have our lunchtime then break till 3:pm. then we had to go to the school building again till 5.00 pm. at 5:00 pm we have sports time. we love to play. then we have self-study time till dinner. After dinner, we go to our bed.

'yes, I am a NAVODAYAN', whenever I say this, I feel so proud. I was recalling those days when I got admission to JNV. I got overwhelmed with happiness. It was my desire to study in navodaya. I was there for 4 years. I love the place very much, as the civilization of navodaya is really really amazing. Teachers care like parents as we were not with our parents.

school life is really awesome. And without friends life is nothing. we used to eat together play together. we spent our whole day with our friends, in navodaya we have to wake up early in the morning for exercise for a healthy body. our PET is really lovely. I love to play basketball there, she played with us.

We used to go in a mess for having our meal. I and my friends were midnight food lovers, we used to eat chapati and namkeen at night. our housemistress always taking care of that who is eating or not. she always came to the house at night for saying goodnight. I love her this affectionate behavior so much.

covid time

During the covid pandemic, our school teachers teach us online, they support us really. when the school reopened after covid. but it spread in our campus. Many students and 2 teachers tested positive. Teachers took the condition very calmly.

They were taking care of all the students who were quarantined and isolated, I was too in quarantine. Those days really unforgettable for me. they encourage don't give up you will get a cure.

mattren mam was there she really took care of every student in quarantine. I was the last in quarantine. she always brought food for me, every three meals. she was really such a nice person.

study

when I went there jNV, I actually can see the transitions in me. Teachers are good supporters, they guided us very well. They make us bear things ourselves. They took additional classes for weak learners in their rest time. I learned many things there.

we study we had a smart class, where we learned things virtually.

In physics and chemistry period, we used to snooze mostly in class. we used to count every single second when will the period end. We used to ask time to side bench partner. and the twist is there as soon as the teacher left, sleep ran away too. so funny. really I missed that day so much.

As I took fine arts in 11 standards, we used to make sculptures, other arts. and in period our sir used to teach us the things. I learned carving. and I made one in my home during holidays. sometimes we used to work in clay. Really the creativity makes a person calm.

when we were in 10th we had board paper, together we used to go on the bus with the subject teacher. after the exam when we had to come back to our campus again, we dance on the bus and enjoy ourselves a lot.

JNVs make us be self-dependent and be confident.
