We're super excited to announce that MERN V2.4 is officially out!
Now why V2.4 and not V3.0? Because there is so much work to do to update MERN to the latest dependencies and libraries, we've decided to take a step-release approach and get these updates bit by bit to you as we make them.
Below is a preview of the roadmap towards V3:
- V2.4.0 -> Webpack 3 and many fixes Completed : list of changes
- V2.5.0 -> React V16.x upgrade and propTypes fix
- V2.6.0 -> Webpack upgrade to V4
- V2.7.0 -> database/mongo/mongoose updates/fixes
- V2.8.0 -> React Router V4
- V2.9.0 -> Express/Server dependencies/code upgrade
- V3.0.0 -> CLI/devtools optimization (docker, etc.)
