On Thursday, 12th of August, 2021, HNG Internship 2021 official commenced. After joining the learning platform, so many fun activities have occurred. We were also given time to familiarize ourselves with the platform and connect with new friends. But those waiting moments end today, Sunday, 15th of August, 2021 as our first task that would qualify us to the next stage has been given.
I’m currently participating in the backend track of the internship, NodeJS to be specific. I really hope I can get to the final stage of the internship. I use the word “hope” because my school exam will be starting in about 15 days to this time so yeah I hope I can. Don’t worry I will put in my best and try to not give up. So if I get to the final stage, here are the goals I will like to set for myself;
1) To improve my technical skill and have projects worthy to showcase to employers and other tech friends.
2) To network with people around the world with different views and life perspectives.
3) To join the alumni group/community and also start contributing to open source project.
4) To get a paid backend engineering job or internship.
So goals have been set, let’s go get it. Wish me luck, I’m serious. Okay, thanks.
