My Tech Trail (mtt)

Hello dear network, happy spooky geeky Halloween!

I am thrilled to share and document my tech transformation and data-driven adventures.

After my database management and data warehousing classes, I realized that being a data engineer would genuinely be a position I would love to occupy. I am well aware that two classes are far from enough to understand all the challenges and responsibilities of a data engineer.

Hence, I decided to look for answers and build a proactive plan to be industry-ready in a year. I got lucky and connected with Ravishankar Sivasubramaniam, who took the time to meet me. This is where my journey started!

Ravi made me realize that the road to reach my goal will be long (still not afraid). I need strong fundamentals before the fun can get started. As we say, learn to walk before you run. Here I will learn how a computer works before coding.

Funny story already (I am sure we will have many); I met with a developer a few days ago to discuss Qualtrics API automation using Python. Yes, I asked who Jason was.

But anyway, as I said, fundamentals are now my priority, and I have an extensive to-do list! So here we are, day 1!
