My Understanding on UI/UX Design

Design first of all is a process of constant iteration, it is not just how it looks like but also how it works. Most importantly a design can cause our identity, mood to feel defeated or at ease, or loved etc. A GOOD DESIGN HELPS ME TO BE THE BEST VERSION OF MYSELF.

I also came to understand that, we can also make mistakes when designing especially if we are new or not really into designing which are

  • Using of words instead of visual
  • Mismatching of fonts
  • Lack of negative space
  • Failing to create contrast
  • Inappropriate font combination and vice versa

With this in mind I came to understand what ui and ux Is all about

UX - User Experience It is the process of enhancing user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability, accessibility and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product. There are responsible for the following

  • Strategy and Content
  • Wireframming and Prototyping
  • Execution and Analytics

UI - User Interface It is the point of interaction between the user and a digital device or product. The goal of Ui design is to visually guide the user through a product's interface, creating an experience that doesn't require the user to think too much. There are responsible for the following

  • Looks and feel
  • Visual design
  • interaction design

The main difference between a UI and a UX design is that ux design is all about the overall feel of the experience, while ui design is all about how the product's interfaces look and function.

I have come to love UI design more but will love to learn both. I have come to understand that in the world of tech, most people don't understand the difference between UI and UX designer which always cause a mix up when applying for jobs. But with the knowledge of the both of them I will get to have not only the skill but also be able to understand both my employer and also the user.
