Political correctness - Early Career Devs vs Junior Devs

These days I feel we're not just optimizing stuff to make everyone feel comfortable and included, but also adding complexity where it's not needed.

To be clear - I am 100% against any type of discriminatory behavior. I just don't get it, what's wrong with the "Junior" title. I don't see it as anything negative, nor does it bring negative emotions to me.

What do you think about it? Am I the only one who thinks this is absolutely unnecessary?
