Regex for checking "non-repetitive characters not more than 2 consecutive time"

Need a regular expression that should work for below mentioned formats

1. Acceptable Format: "A123bcd456", "Abcd12345678", "AAbcdd123456"

2. Non-acceptable Format: "AAbbcc123456", "AAAbbccc1234", "AAbcdd123444"
