<p>What is the common practice for versioning your package initially? I&#39;ve read it&#39;s pretty standard to start <strong>1.0.0</strong>; but that some people don&#39;t do this. I&#39;m getting set to start my first open source project so I&#39;m doing research on the who, what, where, when, why, &amp; how one does this.
