HNG internship is probably one of the biggest if not the biggest remote tech internship in Africa and this is one of the reasons why after some hesitation in registering for the internship (for reasons best known to me) I am actually excited to be part of this year’s HNGi8 internship. It is certainly not a myth how tasking 😣 the HNG internship can be and this is why as a participant in the internship, setting priorities and achievable goals is one of the necessities needed to scale the hurdle in this year’s internship program. That is why in this article, I will be stating my goals for the internship program and what I will want to achieve as a Frontend developer at the end of the 8-weeks duration. Hopefully, this article will inspire you in setting goals and achieve your aim in your education, that place of work or even an internship program just like myself 😄.
MY GOALS FOR THE PROGRAM
Improve my coding skills.
To gain more essential background knowledge on Frontend development.
Complete the whole program.
Becoming a better programmer than when I started.
To meet and network with other developers.
To improve my interpersonal skills by honing the ability to connect with people.
To improve my problem solving skills.
Learn to work and team up with others.
Once again I am super excited to begin this Journey as an intern in HNG and looking forward to the challenges ahead as I believe will help in shaping me to become a better developer 💪.
