So yeah here is my first blog.
This is Mehreen Abbasi and here is the quick breakdown of my most recent read which is the thriller, mystery, character study that is "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michael.
One thing this book does really well and why it is so popular right now is perfectly strikes that darkest spooky vibes that a lot of readers looking for and I am still reeling from the ending of this book.
It is definitely the one that is justifiably know for its twists. The Book is told from two perspectives so you have a Theo, He is a psychologist and then you have Alicia who is a silent patient.
She has gone silent since being charged with the murder of her beloved husband. Theo takes the job just so he can work with Alicia. He want to get down to the bottom of her case and wants to figure out what's going on in there? Why is She silent? Did she really murdered her husband? If not, why is she not defending herself? And If she did murder then why go silent?
Plot wise so, that's really all that I can tell you without getting really into spoilers. This is the book that goes spoilery very quickly. I am somewhere between three and four stars on this read. I really enjoyed parts of it but it also really just frustrated me.
Apart of the reasons, this book is better to read because when the twist happens was so much to me of the enjoyment of the book. If you read that you gonna love this book.
