The Women in Tech I Admire

Today I will share a story of a girl that I admire. She is not a huge personality but she is the inspiration to many boys and girls including me.

I was a 1st year student at University. There are lots of new faces of boys and girls. To know why I admire her you have to know the situation of our country. My country is among third world countries. It's better then before but not good enough. Because girls attend in university more than 10 years before but they just graduated not here to learn. Society level up the standard, so boys and girls attend the university just to get an degree. But not this girl in my class. We were in computer science department. You can just tell by look of her face when class begins while most of us prepare for sleep. One of the few persons who answered the question of our professors. I wasn't that bad student but man, can't keep up with her. As a computer science student, we should go to the contest and hackathons. But as you have guessed nobody attends this kind of events. But not just she goes and thrive, she also inspired us to attend. She was one of the active member of our programming club. By the time I was struggling with my academic education, she complete the Grace Hopper Scholarship, Google Code U, Outreachy Scholarship, Google Summer of Code, MLH Fellowship etc.Even achieving so many things in university life she did not stop. Now she do the webinar, workshop, lecture in social medias platform to aware girls to get involved with programming and technology.

She was just nothing but inspiration to our class and the department. I feel more proud to be her friend because she have helped me a lot during my struggle with academic and programming. I have to doubt that one day she will be the best woman in the technology.
