<li>free starter package, or cheap hobby package</li>
<li>git deployments</li>
<li>no idle sleep</li>
<li>custom domains / hostnames</li>
<li>continuous deployment *nice to have</li>

<p>RedHat&#39;s OpenShift was nice for tiny hobby projects.  Unfortunately, v2 is in signup freeze, and v3 isn&#39;t quite ready yet.  The beta free plan (the only plan available right now) does not support custom hostnames, and doesn&#39;t look like they intend to, unfortunately. </p>
