Why does Rust look attractive?

I started to learn Rust, because my work team decided to use it. Now, I feel some attractivity from Rust. But I can't explain what is it yet. Because of I used C++ before, this feeling(premonition?) is may just an illusion to memory manipulation safety.

By the way, in Hashnode, it seems weight of Rust user is higher than other general dev-communities. So I wanted to ask a rough question like this title.
